How’s the weather in Port Said?
Port Said is a coastal city, so temperatures are usually lower than in Cairo. However, like any city by the sea, it can get quite humid, especially in the summer. We recommend wearing light, airy, and breathable clothes to stay comfortable. In winter, layering is key, as it’s often warm in the morning but can get cold and windy in the evenings, particularly by the seaside.

practical tips
how to prepare:
This is a full-day trip that starts early in the morning, so try to get a good night’s rest before the big day.
Wear light, comfortable clothes and shoes, as there will be some walking throughout the day. We recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, and maybe a hat, especially in the summer. In winter, layering is key as mornings can be mild, but sometimes it tends to get windy and cold.
Don’t forget to charge your phone or camera; you’ll want to capture some moments (and maybe a few delicious memories).
Please avoid open-toe shoes as well as long clothes that drag on the floor, as we’ll be visiting the fish market, and the floors there can get wet.
Come curious and open-minded. Every stop has its own story, and you’re encouraged to ask questions and engage with our hosts.
